Use low cost web camera of your choice to capture live video images for all your photo ID card pictures. WebCams that have AVI, Twain or DirectX 9.x or higher drivers can be interfaced to the IDsPlus photo ID software.
Digital cameras provide a higher quality photo and photos can usually be accessed directly from the camera by our software. If you have a Canon PowerShot, some model can be directly controlled by our IDsPlus and IDsPlus Pro photo ID software to capture a photo directly through the camera when attached to a PC.
We have tested the following Canon Digital Cameras: PowerShot S500 ,PowerShot A510 ,PowerShot A85.
