Prima 2e - Reverse Transfer ID Card Printer The Magicard Prima printer has been significantly updated to enhance its position as the best reverse-transfer printer in the world. The new Magicard Prima 2e Mag includes many new features. Reverse-transfer printing gives the finest print quality, and is especially good for printing on contactless or dual-interface cards due to its ability to print on all sorts of surfaces.
The Magicard Prima 2e prints on the reverse of a transparent PVC re-transfer film which is then laminated onto the face of a card made from PVC, PET, ABS or PVH. The quality of the finished card is similar to that achieved by the off-set litho printing process, but with the advantage that every card can be different.
For high volume printing, the card supply drawer holds 300 cards and is re-loadable during printer operation. The ribbon and re-transfer film have a large capacity of 1,000 prints.
